This 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 with only 118 miles is one of 1,292 examples produced for the model year. This car was awarded to Camilo Pardo, credited as the chief designer for the 2005 and 2006 Ford GT, after winning the Motor City Masters automotive design reality television show. The quarter panels are signed by Camaro designer Tom Peters, the former Vice President of General Motors Global Design Edward Welburn, and former owner Camilo Pardo.
Power is provided by a hand-assembled 7.0-liter LS7 V8 mated to a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission and a 3.91:1 limited-slip differential. The LS7 V8 features a dry-sump lubrication system and was rated at 505 horsepower and 481 lb-ft of torque when new. Black-finished 19 Y-spoke forged alloy wheels are mounted with Perelli P-zero tires measuring 305/30/ZR19. The car is equipped with a fully independent suspension, spool-valve dampers, and Performance Traction Management. Stopping power is provided by Z/28-branded Brembo calipers over two-piece drilled carbon-ceramic rotors. A dual-mode performance exhaust was equipped as standard.
The car is finished in Red Hot and features a front splitter, an optional extended decklid spoiler, and an aluminum hood with a vented carbon-fiber insert. The Recaro front sport seats are upholstered in black leather with microfiber suede inserts and feature Z/28 logos embroidered on the headrests. The multifunction steering wheel is wrapped in microfiber suede and frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges. Amenities include air conditioning, aluminum pedals, a CD stereo, a microsuede-wrapped shift knob, and power windows, side mirrors, and door locks. Additional equipment includes daytime running lamps, Z/28 badging, wheel arch extensions, side skirts, and polished quadruple exhaust outlets.

If You Have to Ask, It's Not For You

Seriously. Let's get the obvious out of the way. Low windows. Check. Limited visibility. Yup. Spartan interior. Yes. Love it? You bet. You have to know what this car is before you buy it. And you either love it or not. It's one of the few economical ways to own a mean-looking sports car for mere pocket change. Things that are supposed "cons" I actually like. I like the tight, private cabin. But one recommendation is to buy one with a back-up camera (or install an aftermarket one) due to that limited visibility issue. It's nimble, it hugs the corners, it's tight. No, it's not the highest performance sports car out there, but any performance deficiencies are balanced out by its low price. Wouldn't trade it for the world--well, except for another one with lower mileage. - 5.0

Thought I'd have to buy the SS to have any power. Was so thrilled at what the V6 could provide, I opted for that to save $ on larger motor, fuel, insurance - just for bragging rights. Instead I bought a nearly complete options package - premium paint job, RS package, instrument package, premium sound & wheels, leather, remote start, etc. I love this car!! If easy on pedal, can get 30 mpg. Very quick around traffic. Fun vehicle. - 5.0

Black 2SS - I can't express how much I love this car, from the moment I walked up to this black beauty to be handed the keys back in 2013! Then I fired her up...chills...It is awesome in performance, style, stance, not to mention the throaty bass sound of the dual-mode quad exhaust system. I've gotten every penny out of her over the years. She's the most reliable car I've ever owned, only needing basic maintenance. Road tripping has been a blast! It has all of the performance needed to be out in front and cruise while being very comfortable and smooth to ride in. Still happy with my full-price purchase eight years later! If you're on the fence, just do it!
