2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R
Just arrived a RARE 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R with 7000 miles and powered by a 5.2-liter Voodoo V8 linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Finished in Avalanche Gray with a black roof and stripes over-the-top stripes with red accents. In 2016 the GT350/R production numbers were a total of 49 Avalanche Gray R models built with 41 units coming with the Electronics Package and 8 units being ordered as Base R models.
The 5.2-liter Voodoo V8 features a flat-plane crankshaft along with dual overhead camshafts, variable valve timing, and an engine oil cooler. The factory-rated output was 526 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. Additional coolers for the engine, transmission, and differential were standard. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Tremec TR-3160 six-speed manual transmission and a 3.73:1 Torsen limited-slip differential.
The black 19 carbon-fiber seven-spoke wheels are mounted with 305/30 front and 315/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires said to have been installed in November 2021. The R-specification suspension features a MagneRide damping system, and braking is handled by two-piece brake rotors with Brembo calipers at all four corners.
The cabin features seats trimmed in Ebony cloth and Miko suede along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an 8,250-rpm redline, auxiliary gauges, and a central multi-function digital display. The rear seat is omitted on R models, and this example was ordered without an infotainment system. Additional exterior details comprise HID projector headlights, a carbon-composite front grille, functional hood and fender vents, a front splitter with the Shelby logo, a carbon-fiber wing, LED taillights with sequential turn signals, and quad exhaust outlets.
The passenger-side dashboard plaque designates this GT350R as chassis GR095. Clear paint protection film covers the nose and a ownerâs supplement is included in the sale.
