2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R Heritage Edition
This 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R was optioned from the factory with the Heritage Edition and Technology package and has only 17 miles on the odometer. It is finished in Wimbledon White with blue racing stripes and powered by a 5.2-liter Voodoo V8 linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The 5.2-liter Voodoo V8 features a flat-plane crankshaft, dual overhead camshafts, variable valve timing, and an engine oil cooler. A commemorative plaque displays the engine builder's signature, and the factory-rated output was 526 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. Additional coolers for the engine, transmission, and differential were standard. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Tremec TR-3160 six-speed manual transmission and a 3.73:1 Torsen limited-slip differential.
The Heritage Edition Package specified Wimbledon White paint with Guardsman Blue side and over-the-top racing stripes, as well as front and rear exterior badges, also finished in Guardsman Blue. Black 19 carbon-fiber seven-spoke wheels are mounted with Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires. The R-specification suspension features a MagneRide damping system, and two-piece brake rotors with Brembo calipers handle braking at all four corners.
The Recaro sport seats are trimmed in Ebony cloth and Miko suede, while exposed carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard. The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel features a red centering stripe and frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an 8,250-rpm redline, auxiliary gauges, and a central multifunction digital display. Additional readouts for oil pressure and oil temperature are mounted in the center stack. The rear seat is eliminated on R models. Equipment includes a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, blind-spot monitoring (BLIS), a rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and a touchscreen infotainment system with voice-activated navigation.
The window sticker affixed to the passenger window shows initial delivery to Mac Haik Ford in DeSoto, Texas, and lists factory colors and equipment. Various accessories will also be included with the vehicle.
